LES Weekend Guide.

This weekend the neighborhood offers some especially special prospects, check out our best of's, below.

Eat well,

Tiny's

Friday & Saturday
Fear and Loathing in the LES.
Sunshine Cinema's Midnight Movies are one of our favorite things to attend after closing up shop (with smuggled in snacks from the restaurant in hand, of course) and this weekend we are especially excited that they will be featuring Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas! Tickets are 9.99.

Saturday
A reimagined landscape.
The Drawing Center and Cooper Union are hosting an exhibition of renderings from the planning phase for the Lower Manhattan Expressway. See how dramatically the city that we know would have been transformed had this unfulfilled project of Robert Moses era urban planning come to fruition. Beginning at 2pm at the Arthur A. Houghton Jr. Gallery, The Cooper Union (7 E.7th St., 2nd Floor).

Sunday
Dance the weekend away.
At 2pm on Sunday you can dance the remainder of the weekend away at The Hotel on Rivington (our swanky neighbors just down the block) at the Verboten Presents Soul Clap + Nicolas Jaar dance party. The play list promises house, disco and soul. Sounds like a good time to us!
