LES Weekend Guide.


Friday
  start the weekend with a hoedown. 

Join DJ Jonathan Toubin and a host of friends for an eclectic blend of soul, garage rock, girl groups, glam, punk, and a whole lot more tonight at Home Sweet Home. 131 Chrystie b/t Broome & Delancey St. 10:30 pm. $3 cover.

Friday
  hide out with Godard.
Keep Your Right Up, the 1987 gem from Jean Luc Godard who appears in the film as a Buster Keaton-like character. Co-starring the lovely Jane Birkin. Playing at one of our favorite theaters, Anthology Film Archives. Pair it with a toasty hot Tiny's sandwich and you have the perfect prescription for an overcast Friday night.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  spend the weekend at the New Museum.
Stop by our place for lunch and walk it off with a tour of two interesting installations, "Free" & "The Last Newspaper", at the New Museum this weekend. 235 Bowery. 



Saturday
  listen to Land of Talk.
Canadian born singer Elizabeth Powell performs as Land of Talk this Saturday at the Bowery Ballroom. The much raved about trio have been compared to PJ Harvey & Dinosaur Jr. 9pm. Tickets $15. 6 Delancey Street. 



Sunday
  a marathon picnic. 
40,000 runners covering over 26 miles and all five boroughs, the ING New York City Marathon is an institution not to be missed. Cheer on your fellow New Yorker's and camp out with a cozy Tiny's picnic while you do. If you are among the brave & the strong running this Sunday, we recommend stopping by for a carb loading session Saturday.
