LES Weekend Guide.


Labor day is already upon us, and a summer as good (and hot!) as this one deserves a proper send off. Luckily there are plenty of ways to do just that, right in our neighborhood (and just a hop, skip and a jump beyond).

Get a head start on All Tomorrow's Parties
Watch Beak play at the Bowery Ballroom before they head upstate for the infamous music festival, All Tomorrow's Parties. A consolation prize for being all of our friends who are city bound. 8pm at 6 Delancey Street, tickets cost $20.


Revisit your adolescence on the dance floor
Shoe gaze the night away on the dance floor of Fontana's as DJ's spin sets heavy with the Smith's, the Cure, and company. Beginning at 11pm. Located at 105 Eldridge Street. 



Our Cities, Our Selves
Saturday from 11-5 at the AIA Center for Architecture, view an exhibition on the future of public transit in urban life. View proposals for cities around the globe as different planners envision systems for commuting that will sustain and enliven a diverse array of high-density communities. Located at 536 LaGuardia Place. Ongoing through the 15th.



Get Clubby
Sapphire hosts their Expansions party every Sunday beginning at 8pm. Tickets for the DJ set are $10, but reduced to $5 if you RSVP on Facebook. 249 Eldridge Street between Houston & Stanton.
