Gallery 128 opened a new group show this past Wednesday and it sounds like an interactive, multimedia explosion that will surely be worth the trip. Read their description, below:
"Gallery 128 is proud to announce rEvolution, the midsummer night’s group show opening August 4th through September 4th. Nine artists will be participating in this month-long happening. Presenting - improvisation, collaboration, freedom, fun, fake fur, found objects, found artists, trumpets, guitars, postal codes, hair portraits, cyber-violence, jazz riffs, painted dresses, T-Rex (the band)…and more. Everything is happening!"

Tonight at Dixon Place, Mark Sam Rosenthal will be premiering stories from his recent memoir. Rosenthal is known for his comedy, and this will be a rare opportunity to see performances from his unpublished work. Located at 161A Chrystie St. between Delancey & Rivington Streets. Show starts at 9:30, tickets are $15.
